Effective January 1, 2009, the membership fee is waived for Co-Op members who are heating with propane only. You must be 65 or older, or currently serving in the military (proof of age or service required annually).
Our yearly membership timeframe runs from June 1st to May 31st. You can join the Co-op at any time but the Co-op cannot pro rate the membership fee. Example: If you join the Co-op in the month of April, you will be asked to renew your membership June 1. See renewal information below.

Once your registration form and yearly membership
fee are received, our propane members will be
contacted by someone from the
Ferrellgas staff (800 437-4856) within the next five business days to discuss billing and delivery options. When that is completed, an appointment to come out to your property will be set. At that time a pressure check will be performed to insure there are no leaks (this service is free of charge). If you are using tanks that belong to another company, we will disconnect those tanks, set them aside and install our tanks, free of charge. And of course, we also offer 24 hour emergency service. It's that simple.
Propane referral program
We value your commitment to our
effort, so we are offering you up to
$75.00 each time you refer a new
propane residential or commercial customer to our Co-op. It's a way of saying "thank you" for becoming a member and letting your friends, neighbors and family know how they can save on their fuel costs. Listen to our message for propane referral details.
Our fuel / heating oil members will be contacted by one of our fuel oil distributors within a few days to discuss billing and delivery options. When that is completed, an appointment to come out to your property will be set. At that time a tank & fill valve inspection will be performed to insure there are no leaks before filling your tank (this service is free of charge).
Renewals
Renewals will be mailed on April 1st. However, if you need a form please fill out & print the membership renewal form linked below with your payment and send it in to us (our address is included at the bottom of the form) by June 1st each year. If your renewal is not received by June 1st there will be a $45.00 dollar late charge that will apply (no exceptions). The total due at that time will be $80.
Not renewing your membership will result in a price increase in your fuel (oil and/or propane) or possible termination of your service(s). GalwayCo-op.com LLC assumes no responsibility for a vendor price increase or termination for their service to non-co-op members. Galway Co-op.com LLC is under no obligation to renew a membership once it is delinquent.
